This item is quite unique when it comes to the finer details, which can be hard to define but are indeed there. Simply put, The brace Is a lighter and a more technically constructed light weight version of the original Comp1. It boasts a simpler configuration with complex material drilled, cut and scalloped out of areas to shave weight, and has a multitude of different options to choose from or change up if pricing or weight isn't as big of a concern- But the brace configuration is something you’re after.
It can also be made with interlocking joints in the bottom hoop that would allow for the entire bulk of it to be removed in minutes.
Options can range from aluminum or steel rod ends, rods, material quality levels, the interlocking tube connecting/ releasing joint option that re claims your trunk space when needed, as well as a handful of other options that are both weight and aesthetic related options such as the tower mount drilling and scalloping. Also, if you currently own an original comp1, but would like the new style bottom section and possibly with the removable joints added in as well, that is also an option available to you, and depending on your current brace condition there could be a trade in credit applied to this.
If you are to buy this product here as is, it is priced with these options and will come as described. the tension rods are aluminum. make sure if you prefer steel to let me know in purchase notes or other contact methods provided. I work with availability when comes to machined parts and i think aluminum is a very sound option i dont shy away from in this case.
IMPORTANT MEMO: Mounting tabs or other small possibly hard noticed details may possibly vary in shape or brand, depending on what’s available being that they’re typicaly 3rd party supplied tabs then hand manipulated by myself. This and the original Comp1 Brace will now also come with aluminum tensioner rods unless requested otherwise and possibly at a small additional fee. This is all in trend to save construction time and More so; weight, as with the rest of this brace. This brace has a lot of room for personalization/ customization and fluctuation. Apologies in advance but please do not “expect” “updates”. This is somethg I have had to phase out as the process is too hard to pin down dates, I simply just know the usual appx turnaround time and that’s what everyone else should simply expect their item by or sooner. If to be later I would absolutely contact you. I do my level best to post what to expect in my item descriptions and as a one man company I’m very deep in the actual production. I also do several orders at the same time up into a certain point in the process of their build or coat difference causes to branch off. Any given items eta is sometimes simply too ambiguous to be able to provide up until a week before coat at best. Furthermore, I of course count on several vendors or services to produce items I use to build these products, coat, bolt, pack and ship them as well, so I hope it is understandable now how the process works and why I have found it either too difficult or inaccurate etc to mess with this and I just keep head down to keep parts moving.
. Every order comes out appx same turnaround as the last with minimlal 1-2 week fluctuation depending on any given thing listed above.
